KENUP team led by Mr. Holm Keller Chairman kENUP foundation visited Rwanda FDA and met with the Authority’s Director-General, Dr. Emile Bienvenu, and senior managers. kENUP Foundation is a non-profit public benefit foundation supporting research-based innovation in the wider health industries for societal benefit. 

The team discussed Rwanda FDA's requirements for Regulatory Oversight for vaccine manufacturing in Rwanda. The meeting also focused on the capacity to be developed concerning regulatory oversight of the mRNA technology and laboratory testing capabilities (Lot release testing) and the type of reliance to be concentrated on.
